<-- 15 months of TV-less viewing.

While wonderful and all, still doesn't protect me from encountering this type of bullshit: Religious persecution, a 42+ million industry.

I know this is off-topic, but I've got to know where your avatar came from Rummy.

"Weird Al" Yankovic - UHF

I actually adore this movie.

I've seen that before, but I don't remember that scene. Pretty good movie though.

Er, no wait, I mean welcome to the club.

They're breeding sheep, that's why we have this thread to complain about it.

People en masse are such fucking goddamn sheep.

The weirdest part is when you are at a bar/restaurant/friend's place and you see an ad.....

I will not have cable when I move out, unnecessary expense when I have a Netflix account that I can stream shit with. I barely watch tv as it is.

Same here. All the TV I get will either be through streaming or DVD's.

When i was 15 i noticed all my friends and classmates were moving from cartoons to teen shows, movies and the MTV schedule, so i decided to not stop watching cartoons until i really felt like it and not just because "Durr it's not suited for your age".

I'm 22 and i'm still watching cartoons everyday. The only "live action" series (or movie on TV) i watch is Dexter and Friends reruns (And the ocasional McGiver rerun)

I was lucky enough to be in that group in my highschool where we all still watched cartoons (I being the only Brony in the group). But I still watch cartoons alot. Dan VS. on the hub being my favorite discovery so far, but Gumball on CTN isn't bad either. The best part of this is that by the time I'm done watching crime dramas in the morning, my cartoons are on later.

[/quote]bromance.

Cartoons are still awesome. Most of it's schlock, but there's still good things out there. Like Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Regular Show as far as I know (I have yet to watch any.) etc. Plus the classics from the 90s to early 2000s (to cover Dexter and Samurai Jack, etc)

Oh god, teen shows... I also kept watching cartoons and skipped the entire teen stage and started watching sci fi, mostly Star Trek: TNG and Babylon 5 which were being broadcast then, nowadays I happily torrent what I want to watch because media companies think they're so smart for segmenting the market by region.

It just gets more prevalent with anonymous messageboards. Like Reddit, or Freep, or DU, or Stormfront.
