Archer - Group Concept

Hello,

I'm taking a very brief break from studying to discuss the idea of doing a group Archer cosplay. This would be for ACEN 2014. My old costumes are finally being retired (Medic is dilapidated, Demoman props are finally falling apart, and my Quote cosplay is frankly rubbish), so I need something new if I were to cosplay this spring. Hopefully, something convenient to wear.

As you should all know, there are a lot of characters in Archer that BRBU members could actually fit the description of (Lana notwithstanding). I'm currently looking at doing Sterling (though I get the feeling I might make a better Cyril). Some other characters that would probably be easily filled: Cyril, Ray, Krieger, Barry, maybe Pam or Cheryl. Krieger's waifu?

Just a preliminary idea I'm throwing out there. I probably will be doing this (already have a suit perfect for Sterling), so if anyone else wants a low-maintenance cosplay idea, hit me up.

EDIT: Being in character would probably make this a lot more fun, but trust me when I say that acting like your character has to be rehearsed if you don't want to come off as just lame.

I've only seen a random 3 episodes so I don't know the characters that well. I didn't really see anyone I would cosplay when I was watching it though. Suggestion?
I'm currently gathering ideas for future cosplays.

Unless you're going to do a costume of his that requires a shirt off it doesn't really matter much. Standard archer is a suit that fits. You might be able to pull the hair off though.

Are you going to do cel-shaded makeup?

I was planning on doing Krieger. I'm planning on doing a lab coat with dark edges added to match the Archer style along with a gas mask like the one he used when disposing the body. Either that or cover the bottom of my face in white powder like the gun mod scene.

I'd be interested in doing Krieger, but I could probably pull of Ray or Barry if we don't want to crowd the floor with Krieger clones.

Awesome, glad to hear it everybody. I wasn't planning on doing cel-shaded makeup, as it might be hard for us all to do consistently (or we'd need one skilled and very patient person to hook us up at ACEN). Dtrain: Definitely drop the fact that we'll be doing the cosplays too. Always less weird in a group.

Chiming in to say that I'm still intending to do this. I'll be ordering the props I need (really just a pistol and maybe nightvision goggles, perhaps a richer looking turtleneck) and I'll take some shots soon.
