I've got a technical problem with TF2 :<

Everytime i run the game, it opens in windowed mode, even though i have it on FS in the options. The Valve dude appears, then the Source logo and when the Menu is supposed to show up, the game closes. No Crash warning, no "not enough virtual memory" nothing. It just dissapears. Steam keeps running without any problems.


Any clue?

I restarted Steam, the PC and even reinstalled TF2

I recommend a full reinstall by trashing your TF2 folder. (save your maps and sprays though)

Reinstall your Source engine (be it Half-Life 2 or something like that).

Everytime i try to shoot a Scout with Bonk i always miss and not because the bonk effect, because the Scout is on "defense" mode and pass through me jumping and running anyway. So unless the Scout drink the bonk right next to me, it's hard to aim anyway (the only situation i can figure is a corridor, and your oponent is a Heavy)

Try uninstalling everything, it sucks time wise, but it might be the only way to fix source

Did you reinstall source entirely, like uninstall HL2 and all related source games such as Ep1, 2, and Portal?
