I would like an opinion from you guys about SFIV. Is it worth the 10 bucks to get it? I've got a 360 controller I can hook up to my PC. My only hesitation is I'm not too big on fighting games and most of my friends who have played the game, hate it. I do like the SF Universe though.

Never really played a fighting game until SF4 which I bought for 20 dollars. Now I have around 80 hours in it and I love it. I play with a keyboard too.

There's more lenient inputs, there's plenty people here who are at beginner level, and I'm willing to tell you some basic combos and stuff and link you to more stuff depending on which character(s) you'd want to pick up. A little is getting your execution down and then learning your bread and butter combos, and then the rest is all experience and matchup dependent.

So I was just playing some SF4 and geez, four Kens in a row. It wouldn't be so bad, but every single one of them spent their time looking through all the characters before choosing Ken. There needs to be an online mode, and an online sans Ryu and Ken mode.

I just suck at this game for some odd reason.

I keep on getting close calls...

Edit: I am owning a guy.

Lol I feel happy when I get Ken.  They are either a total scrub or actually know what they are doing.  Almost everyone uses Ryu now, since he's godlike powerful and super easy to use.  Fuck I'm even happy with Sagat, I don't think I've ever played anyone that's actually good with him.

Oh btw, if any of you nubs wanna play, lemee know.  I need to learn some new characters, so it'd be like starting over for me too.

Oh right, I'm checking the forums on my bf's computer, woops.  Ummm this is Wedge btw >.>'

I was just about to get Sam & Max and then decided against it. Not enough time to play all these games.

I was about to buy the Doom pack, but then I remembered that I would never play the older games (Doom II, Ultimate Doom, etc). I just went and bought the Doom3 pack, which had just Doom 3 and the expansion for a few bucks cheaper.

I bought ME for $20 :V. And I've already played through all the Sam & Max's, they are most worth it.

I need to finish the other 3 Tales of Monkey Island games. And a bunch of other stuff.

And with strange aeons, even Death may lay down in the street and die.

Well I ended up with Street Fighter. Wish the game would have come with a manual or at least the move list was a bit more extensive :x

Anyone wanna fill me in on how to Block, Continue on arcade mode when you loose and how to stop Abel from being a huge asshole and just rolling+grab. I'm pretty shitty at this game though. I loose on the first couple guys on easiest mode with Ryu. Doesn't help that I'm stuck using the keyboard for now though Sad

Edit: Also where do I put in my Product Key. It won't let me sign onto live until I put it in.

I'll help you.

If you go on the games menu on Steam, you should see SFIV. Right click it and it should show View CD Key.
