Wow FML I did not realize The Stone Prisoner was actually a free code included on new copies of the game. I bought the game new but I only saw the blood dragon download card... never thought to look on the back where the stone prisoner download code was. Here I thought it was some $15 day one DLC that everyone decided to get except me.

Dragon Age is 33% off. After seeing all the good reviews, I'm deciding to buy it. However, does anyone have a recommendation for whether or not to buy the "Deluxe" edition?

Are those addons worth the extra $10?

EDIT: Lack of response; I'm going with standard. It looks like those addons are just items and not actual quests/arcs

If it's anything like the demo it would be a hard buy even at 25 dollars. Also, I hear the population of those who play it is already dying and pay for DLC maps are set to divide that community further. Sucks because this game was supposed to be impossible to mess up.

idk about general game pop though,  bc2 distracted me and now i'm away from desktop

it'd be amazing if a ton of brb people got it and we could have a night of it every week or every other week

dedicated servers have been released for the game as of now, that should go a long way toward fixing my only gripes

if you're on the fence cruise the steamforums. i love the game to death but apparently there's issues with some of the updated content and ded servers so idk if i can in good conscience recommend picking up the game as I haven't been able to play with any of the new stuff yet.

My opinion: with a few friends in vent, it's fantastic fun. Idk if I would ever bother soloing multi though (same as just about every other game I play at this point) as it is incredibly hard to find people that aren't criminally retarded

This is probably true for any game. I think if we are all in vent, having a good time, just about any game could be fun. It's just a matter of getting everybody into the same thing at the same time.

I'm going to say this response probably isn't justified for somebody who was agreeing with you.

I am saying we, as a community, are good at having fun together. We get in vent and have a good time. If more people pick this up, I would be more than glad to buy it so we can have more fun with a different game.
