They rescued it from a barn and nursed it back to health. The gloves were so it doesn't scratch the fuck out of them because he's wild.

I was 90% on popup silhouettes from 500m today with a stock M4, ACOG, and bipod and standard green tip ammunition.  That's at the very edge of what an M4 should be able to do, and tomorrow we're shooting from 600m

The upshot of this is, that if you piss me off and are still within a clear field of fire but only 1/4 a mile away, I can still kill you.  In under 6 seconds.

Not too shabby for a 55 year old design. God bless Eugene Stoner

Today I made up my lowest physics grade (a 78) and hopefully my average goes up a bit from a 95.
He was really picking on me though.  Gave me harder questions than we've ever had to do, even though he specifically told me "I won't purposefully give you harder questions, they'll be the same difficulty as the quiz, but whatever grade you get is the grade you get."
Basically, I'm glad I got it over with and I only have one more day left of school this week.

I get up, ready to go to school, and find that there is no school due to high winds. Then I went on a bike ride.

Hey, fuck you.

Pussies.

I saw Portland busses stopping @ bus stops then all the kids walking away on my way into work this morning.

Of which I had to detour 3 times due to flooding and downed wires.

I still don't have power at home.

Also go find a copy of The Forecaster from Nov 4th and read top article on page 6, that's us.

P.S. come through Yarmouth more.
BTW, two day week ftmfw.  Rain/wind day (which was actually really nice after 8am) was welcome.

Yes but could you kill somebody for less than....

(12 sec) / (2) = 6 sec
($400,000) / (2) = ($200,000)

$200,000 in boolets?

Turns out that I can legally own anti-material rifles in Canada.

Now to save up for a McMillan Tac-50, and a two mile shooting range.

probably because it's a bolt action. I can legally own a Barrett M82 and a machine gun. I'd just need the cash.
