I am getting to the point in my learning curve of hardware where it seems the more random numbers on a graphics card the better.

Time to go out and buy myself a 44390712-GxCPP012.

From what I can tell, Koala got a radeon 5770 made by msi (the second set of numbers are a product code)

All you really need to worry about are the first numbers. In Nvidia, the current numbers are the medium-end 9-series (Ex: 9600 GT, 9800 GTS, 9800 GTX, etc.) the high-end 500 series (Nvidia 540, 570, 580, etc.) In both categories, the bigger the number, the stronger the card. In the medium-end cards, keep this in mind: GS<GT<GTS<GTX

While in radeon, the 5000 and 6000 series (5570, 5870, 5970, 6970, etc.) are being used, with series 7 not too far off.  With Radeon, it's pretty straight-forward. The bigger the number means the stronger the card, but only within its own series. For example, a 5970 would blow a 6450 out the water.

Just felt like helping out. If anybody sees I made a mistake, correct it for me.

It actually worked out quite well on our end, and I got to see just how fast red would come back up when I rcon quit it over and over and over and over until it patched.
