Just finished cycling like 1500 rounds through my rifle across the street in an abandoned quarry while zero'ing it in for the new ammo I just picked up, had a ball.


Some woman I guess was walking along the street above me at one point, I figure she was one of those people who literally shit themselves when they see or hear a gun, because all of a sudden she was yelling at the top of her lungs "YOU NEED TO WATCH OUT YOU'RE SHOOTING UP HERE AT THE ROAD AND THERE'S PEOPLE UP HERE" - I just ignore her, considering I was at the bottom of the pit (It's probably a good 120' deep), firing into the far wall, 180 degrees away from the road.

So I rip off 3 shots in rapid succession at a cheap metal trash can that's near me, because the impact on the metal of hollow points will make a .22 sound like a 30-06. (trollface.jpg) Apparently she did not appreciate that one bit, because she took the time to work her way through the dense underbrush packed 15 or so feet between the road and the edge of the pit so she could see me and she hollers again "DO YOU HAVE A PERMIT FOR THAT GUN?" - So I retort with "NO, I DO NOT HAVE A PERMIT FOR THIS FIREARM, I DO NOT NEED ONE." and she replies "I LIVE JUST OVER THERE AND I HAVE MY CELLPHONE, I WILL CALL THE POLICE!" so I reply "YOU DO? SO DO I! I LIVE JUST DOWN THE ROAD AT <give her my house number> IF YOU LIKE!" and proceed to dump the other 6 shots left in that clip, drop it out and slap a fresh on in real fast and empty that one in about 2 seconds into the can as well.



Cops never showed up to the quarry, nor my house. She never showed up here, either.
