Too bad that raven was your harbinger of awesome things to come. And you punched him.
Shit son, I want a pet raven.

Yeah, they're supposedly very intelligent. There's a lot of good shit on youtube demonstrating their ability to problem solve.

They can do all kinds of awesome stuff. But I'm not likely to actually GET one.

I like watching the ones in my back yard steal my strawberries, sit on the roof of the garage, put it down to eat it and then it rolls off onto the ground because of the slope. LOLOL EAT MY BERRIES, WILL YOU?

Sweet.

My boss said something to me today that I was surprised and pleased by. She knows what's been going on with me and the whole skin disease thing, and I've been very honest and open with her. I was apologizing for missing more work lately and she said "You know, today is the first day in months that I've seen that light back in your eyes again". I realized a lot of the fear and depression had faded away.

Feels good, man.

Today i had to attend a Press Conference where Andrew Jennings was talking..

It was awesome

Kinda boring some times because he was like "DUUURR, all big companies are a mafia, FIFA is coluded with McDonalds and Coca-Cola". And while i know most of his claims have big basis and are result of his huge investigation, it got boring sometimes to hear the same over and over.

Went out for a speed interviewing session for TinyPrints & Shutterfly at a local bar and grill. Met a couple other people in the furry fandom. One of whom was a hot girl omg, and in fact, she owns the Hipster Eevee fursuit. Three of us chill and commiserate, then go down the street for coffee and talk about jobs and careers and life. There were hugs at the end like old friends.

I had an interview and a job offer once for Spencers. I turned it down when they said they do random drug testing several times a year. I had nothing to fear from the testing, but I did not approve of being made to pee in a blacked out van in the parking lot for a part time minimum wage job.

Still it looked like a fun place to work.

I'm pretty sure they give you the dignity of a bathroom at least.

Nope. She specified it was a sort of van with blacked out windows. I asked. "Too much chance of cheating in a less controlled environment" she said.

I signed up for a Princeton club membership so now I can get into shape for ski season (and bake in their sauna)! I'm hoping it snows early so I can ski down the giant hills by my house.

Big Grin Big Grin ;D ;D Smile Smile

After tooling around on newegg... I decided to build a second (better) computer.

Best part is, it only costs about 2 hundred dollars more than the upgrade I had planned for this pc.

:-*

It'll be here next week, here's to hoping for all working parts and a smooth build.

Looks like the drive didn't go 100% belly up, I'm currently copying everything I can off it after installing Win7 on the free space on one of my storage drives... at 12MB/s

Took 11 hours of scandisk last night to get it to operate.

Thank god for Netflix.

Sad part? I was most pissed about losing my Minecraft world.  8)
