When I was really young, maybe 5yo or so, I used to watch and love my dad's copy of a computer 3D animation VHS. It was essentially clips of animation by various people with 80s music. I've been searching for it for a while and today I found a clip of it on youtube! The documentary is called Dream Machine and I looked for it online but it's only available in laserdisc form Sad

Chromosaurus (1985) - Pacific Data Images

LMAO I found a better clip:
Locomotion Studies - MIT - Karl Sims (1987)

A lot of these were used to fill in gaps between shows on YTV back in the 80-90s.
Most of the videos are impressive, concidering what they were rendered on.

Just got off the phone with my mom, who I've not spoken with or seen since Mothers day 2008 because of some things that were said and blah blah blah when her and my dad got divorced.

Not really sure if it made my day or not, but I suppose it goes here hell of a lot more than in the FML thread.

I think I feel better about things now?

Life's too short and blood is too thick to let stuff like that fester.

Thanksgiving break, fuck yea! I am so excited to see all my friends who go to out of state universities.
I kicked of the celebrations by sleeping for 10 hrs last night.

I should have posted this 2 days ago but... I found the brand new ipod touch in the middle of the street while waiting for my bus. It was covered in snow and has a cracked screen kind of but it works like brand new.

Me too! Yesterday though. It was a friends birthday and I fit baking cheesecake into studying for my two midterms that were both yesterday as well. Also organized a giant card to be made.
Huge success. Cheesecake tasted amazing and mango+cheesecake went better than expected.

Also, I was already sleeping in her/their room because my roommates girlfriend was staying over, and me and the birthday-friend stayed up til 5am just talking. Man, that was nice.
