My dad came home from the hospital today. He's doing ok, just in a lot of pain and exhausted. He's only gotten about 4 hours of sleep total over the last 3 days. He went to bed around 6pm and he probably wont wake up until tomorrow afternoon.

Also, I've been married 3 years as of today.  Big Grin

I assume you plan on celebrating by getting head while eating half a dozen raw steaks cows while using the guts of a stripped pistol as utensils to eat it with?

...or maybe dinner and a fuck

Did a couple one mile runs, then a 2 mile, and then a three mile yesterday.  Icing my knees afterwards seems to pretty much solve all problems (and not overdoing it...)

Hopefully I can maintain doing the 3 miles without hurting myself, I've got this great loop where I run through the campus and down to the state capitol.

Turns out spotify is awesome for making a good workout mix Smile

Solved 3 cases this morning, got people to fill out the case notes with kudos for me, and reported it to the Quality Manager as we were passing in the break room. She complimented me on my goatee.

I've gotten two half-compliments on my beard this week. One of them was strange, the guy asked if I was prepping to play Jesus in a play, because my beard was PERFECT for it. Not sure if insult or compliment?

You can run the 5k at the Madison Mini Marathon! I'm actually planning on signing up and eventually progress to running full marathons.
And you know what's better than icing? Ice baths.

Nah, sometimes things just take a while, when I started making hats I sent a toothless one to a friend in Orlando, 2 weeks later he still hadn't gotten it, make it again send it, he gets it in ~4 days.

So, after he gets that hat, what shows up a few days later....the original hat I sent.

Yeah, same thing happened when me and vongore had the candy exchange. His box reached me less than 2 weeks after we shipped it, but mine took almost a month to reach vongore.

I got another free laptop today at work, this one's pretty badass, not as much CPU power as my i5, but it does have an integrated AMD Mobility Radeon 4200 which the i5 lacks, with an integrated Intel video chipset.

I ordered my i7 Toshiba almost three months ago. The Wing IT guys are so slow, it'll be replaced by the time I actually receive it.
Last time they said they couldn't order in my switches in time for my deadline, six weeks out. I went direct and had my stuff in five days.
