In Orlando they have this Make-A-Wish resort where all the parks and some donors chip in. They have nice houses and all sorts of attractions and games on site including a place the kids can go and get free ice cream with every topping imagine-able all day. The idea is that the family goes and gets a nice 2 week or so vacation with their dying child and they generally get free admission to the parks but if the kid is too sick to go there is still plenty of fun stuff on property. I volunteered there once in college and it was simultaneously heart breaking and heart warming. I honestly don't know if I could ever do it again though.

they need a make a wish for adults so i can pretend to be sick and nail a swedish model. actually i saw a porn the pther day where it was like email us why you should get a shot as a porn star and it was some tiny asian dude but he got to nail jessica lynn. he was super nervous but she was pretty nice about it so maybe i should just apply to that and try to seem as pathetic as possible zane can give me some tips on that

this device makes school so much sweeter.  it's essentially an emulating machine.  yeah sure a psp can do that, but this thing is tiny, perfect for playing under my desk.  it's also really cheap.

The machine I've been working on in Florida crashed again yesterday, due to a mechanical fault (two parts that literally weren't supposed to be able to touch each other, slammed into each other at 54 in/s (which is a _measly_ 3 MPH) and cracked two welds. Derrrrrrrrrp. Luckily it wasn't my fault, it got assembled wrong so I should've been fine making them swing by each other at top speed.

This machine is pretty wicked cool, although the motors on it are large enough to literally tear the machine apart if not controlled correctly.

[edit] Derp, forgot to mention why it made my day: The machine being mechanically damaged means there's no reason for me to be at the plant, where it's 95 deg F, loud as shit, and dusty as hell. So I get to sit in Starbuck's where there's AC (coolness), AC (power), MILFs and old people. I can also listen to my iPod while I work, which means I'm much more productive, when I'm not on the forums that is ;x[/edit]
