Oh god, Valve servers are so depressing.

I joined one to work on my sniping, as hitting moving targets is still an issue for me.

I see snipers who don't know they can zoom; spies who can't disguise; heavies who walk everywhere with their gun spinning; four or five pyros per team (all back-burner); no medics; engineers who don't upgrade anything; people who cannot use teleporters (guy was stepping on and off the pad, it was recharging slowly as it was lvl1. I cut in and stepped on when it hit 100%.); a guy asking (in team chat, of all things perplexing) if we had any heavies on the team; and my favorite: a pyro who didn't notice that his range was only 4 feet. He was trying to flame me from across the sniper decks...

I like joining Valve servers and going pro-comp lonewolf heavy and decimating the server with sandvich and Iron Curtain.


150:3 kdr's are not uncommon in these scenarios.

Nah, the dregs are just populated by all the pubbies. If you play for at least a month on the server, you'll probably be in the top 100. I've been in the top 100 for over a year at least.

It's pretty funny to look at your total awards and see how many you've racked up for your main class/loadout. I'm at 170 for stickybombs, and 1766 overall :x

Also for a more morbid exercise, take the number of hours you've played TF2 (mine = 1525 hours) and divide it by the number of days since when you started playing (official release = October 9th, 2007). I average exactly 1 hour per day since the game was released, mein gott
