The Princess Bride, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Serenity, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Eurotrip.

I like a lot of others, but wouldn't call them favorites, such as Superbad and The 40 Year Old Virgin.

You can't go wrong with snatch.  "You mean proper fucked?"  XD

And if you like Guy Ritchie movies you should go get Mean Machine on DVD.  Its pretty much the longest yard with european football but I made plenty of soccer haters watched it and they still enjoyed the movie.

Agreed.  Didn't know if you were too "American" to appreciate football.  But yeah go out and see the movie if you can.  Its a great watch.

By quite a stretch, the greatest film ever made.

I won't bother repeating films already mentioned but I'll add:

A History of Violence
Fight Club

I loved Darjeeling Limited too but what did you think of it compared to his other movies?  I felt it to be a lot less comical for his standards.  Hell even Royal Tennenbaums had a lot of laughs.  Like I said I loved Darjeeling Limited but I have to say it is my least favorite of his movies:

1.  Bottle Rocket
2.  Life Aquatic
3.  Royal Tennenbaums
4.  Rushmore
5.  Darjeeling Limited

I'm not going to quote you tragic because it will get a bit ridiculous in length, but in response:

I thought Darjeeling Limited was his most mature work.  Sure he is known for bringing the lulz, but he is also surprisingly deep.  Life Aquatic he went way off the deep end into his surreal craziness, and while I liked it a lot (my wife hated it) it really hid his deeper personal stories he likes to tell.  The Darjeeling Limited focused on a small group of characters and did well in developing them extremely well.  IMO it is one of the greatest character studies of all time.  If they ever teach doing a character study film I think the class should start off with this movie and the teacher saying "This is the right way to do a character study."

It wasn't nearly as funny or surreal as some of his other ones.  But my wife loved it, and I use her as a test usually.  She only likes my weird movie genres if she can relate to it or it touches her in some way, so if she enjoys it then I know it has done something extremely well.

I have a hard time labeling things as my "favorites". Though I say that I have a soft spot for any movie that is essentially a bunch of comedy sketches tied together by a central theme. Films like Brain Candy and Kentucky Fried Movie.
