The game has some problems, but is overall a great example of a port done right. The AI need a little improvement, hitboxes are a lil' broken, and the loot system needs a push into the right direction.

And it's still a steal for the 4-pack thing.

uh, everything about the "port" part of it fails. terrible ui, lack of video options like vsync and AA in the menus, mouse sense is difficult to customize without modifying the config and restarting the game over and over (and for that matter disabling mouse accel), mouse only half works in many menus, gamespy, etc, the list goes on and on. The game is crazy fun but I think the "port" side of things falls flat on it's face.

and yea, all bricks is retardedly fun

also, where were you surf, you missed out Sad

we're lvl15 about to go after sledge btw (didnt do moe and marley or the shock cavern yet if you want to catch up)

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - SAVAGE-0 - 11-03-2009

after only playing for about an hour 2 days ago I had some crazy ass dreams about the content I played last night... I went to bed at like 6:45 so I was in and out of sleep 2-4 times which often leads to crazy dreams... quite abit of it was how I (actually the person running and shooting) was lvl 9 and beating a boss that was lvl 5 and i was pissed bc it took me that long to take him out but at that point is was stupidly easy and I was confused.  haha thats all

Console version, now with 66% less fun and 100% less interesting people to play with  :Smile

Now with split screen so you can play it with your best friend until 4 in the morning.

I seriously almost bought the PS3 version too to play with my wife. If she liked FPSes this would seriously be her favorite game.

LAN > Splitscreen

Especially when your friend has a 12+ Terabyte RAID array dedicated server in his basement that has any worthwhile PC game released from 1998 - Today on it

And yet, you still spend at least a portion of every LAN playing Soldier of Fortune II's barnstorm map

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - copulatingduck - 11-03-2009

yes because I get off on splitscreen raping my already terrible FOV

not

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - copulatingduck - 11-04-2009

uh, this pistol's rate of fire kinda owns. I haven't found anything (machine gun or otherwise) that beats this:

don't normally use pistols, but this thing was begging for Metal Storm Smile

edit: also found a fix to make the item description font smaller so that you can actually see all the buffs (everything after the 4th buff gets chopped off)

fixed  ;D

Re: BRB, Borderlands - Game Discussion & Guide - copulatingduck - 11-04-2009

hahaha, speaking of punching... a friend that is playing mordi on his first playthru (w/o abusing the parrot mind you) asked for some help with the last boss (im lvl50 so it was basically me punching him). I ran at him and jumped at him, ended up somehow getting sucked into his stomach/vagina. From there I got slowly sucked upwards while punching the insides for criticals, eventually saw a light at the end of the tunnel (presumably his eye) and then died
