360 platinum hits aren't $20, they're $29.99

Actually the release said some will be for $19.99 and I figure that could be one.

Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Chaosye - 10-09-2009

Should I use my lag to my advantage or would that be cheating

If you mean leaving variable framerate on, then yes, you're a fag.

Anyone else in the NYC area planning on going to this? I went to the one they did last October, and got to play SF4 a good 4 months before it came out. It's cool as shit, free, and you get some awesome swag. This time around, the game that's being featured is SSFIV, obviously. Anyone who lives in the NYC area has no reason to not come to this.

Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Squishy3 - 10-10-2009

Seth Killian is coming to Sreason's Beatings IV and he says he has a surprise. Season's Beatings happens 6 days before the NYC event. Possibility it may be SSFIV? Maybe. I don't know for sure, the tournament organizers haven't said anything yet.

If they're hosting the fight club it means they already received the build.

Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Wedge - 10-10-2009

It's just gonna be a test version with Juri/T.Hawk/DeeJay probably, but still cool to be able to play them.

Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Cataract - 10-10-2009

Regardless, I'm going, and I'm taking pictures (if I can).

Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Squishy3 - 10-10-2009

if SSFIV is at Season's Beatings I'll try and take pictures or something. We'll see.

Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Wedge - 10-13-2009

OH MY GOD IT BURNS ;_;.  Or at least that's what it feels like trying to get used to a fightstick.  All my brain to hand synapses just keep complaining to me about how wrong it feels.  It's like when I spent a month learning to use a Guitar Hero controller, except I don't get to pretend to play music while doing it.  Also is there any good way to layout or move your hands to hit the buttans?  I have really small hands, and it feels uncomfortable trying to hit the fierce strikes, and I still pretty much need to use the 4th button for 3xp/3xk.

Just keep on practicing all your motions. Do DPs until you can do them across the screen. It's a hard adjustment, but well worth it in the long run.

Relatively certain the buttons don't have a ton to do with stick motions.  And practicing DP motions in SF IV is a waste of time with how easy the input is.  The problem is usually NOT doing a DP when you want a QCF or especially 2xQCF.

THIS. I always felt so ashamed about my troubles with that, but never said anything to due the shame >.< For some reason if I do it reverse handed (right one on the stick with the left crossing over for the buttons) it's perfectly fine, but then everything else falls to shit instead >.<
