Who're you talking to? Tongue

I don't think Super Metroid runs well on flash carts, and I already have Earthbound on mine. Wink

Re: DS decision making - cbre88x - 07-01-2008

I wish I had me a flashcart.. :'(

Re: DS decision making - dapngwnman - 07-01-2008

Like I haven't played Super Metroid or Earthbound before? DS SNES emulation is finnicky at best also. I keep my SNES emulation to my PC, where I have a multitude of gamepads.

What I have done though, is play through Megaman 2-6 for the NES all the way through again. SO GOOD EVERYTIME.

Also, replayed all the mario GB-GBC games. Mario Land 2 and Wario Land are so fucking great.

And flashcarts aren't that expensive. Mine was on the pricier side at 75$ with the microsd card. But that is because I wanted a CycloDS Evolution. M3s and R4s are fairly cheap. I had a friend pickup an M3 and a 1gb microsd for 45$. Got a GBA expansion for another 15$. That is a good deal there.

Supercard ftw Tongue

DSTT + 1gb are like $28 these days. You get what you pay for though. Mine only works in some DSs. Does the job at least.

Because SNES emulators for the DS suck. Or at least they do for RPGs. I suppose they'd be passable for action games. It's either have the top and/or bottom of the screen cut off, or have it squished vertically but not horizontally so it looks bad and text isn't easily readable.

Unless there's a good one I didn't try. Only one I remember trying for sure was SnesDS which is listed over at Zophar's.

Re: DS decision making - dapngwnman - 07-02-2008

snesDS sucks the worst. sneMULds is the best SNES DS emulator. To really get SNES to work well though, you need a slot 2 memory expansion. That'll enable a lot more emulation, including quake and web browsers. Yet, you can still do some browsing sans expansion memory, but hey, IT SUCKS.

So I guess Zophar's still needs help with updating things. Tongue

I'll have to try that out.

Phoneix Wright series. I'm not sure if they have been mentioned yet, but they're by far my favorite games for the DS, and possibly of all time.
