love you rummy.

uh oh, looks like Rummy is getting lazy.  He's started to replace all his fancy word play with pictures.

Also, You Don't Know Jack is an awesome game.

10) I now have a job, working for a landscaping company.  I'm up in 6 hours to spend a 10 hour shift continuing to clean up horse farms after the icestorm.  The work sucks, the pay is mediocre, and I'm drafting a letter to my university to return my degree for an 80% refund.

9) I quit boyscouts because I thought it was boring.  Which is ironic because in highschool, I threw myself into jrotc, which is pretty much the same thing except with explicit military affiliation.  I set a unit record for awards earned, of which I have none anymore.

8 ) I have moved to 4 states 8 times.  Texas, California, Ohio and Kentucky.  No, moving back and forth during college doesn't count, because I never was able to do that.  Kentucky is in the lead for times moved to, though Ohio and Texas are even for most time lived in.

7) I've kept a 12 gauge shotgun in my closet since I was 16.  It's a Remington Wingmaster 870.  I haven't had any shells for the last 8 years and in that time have used it to scare off prowlers on two different occasions.

6) My Mother died my freshmen year of college from a wholly preventable ailment.  My calculus professor refused to excuse the exam I missed because of it, the college of arts and sciences refused to do anything to him, since he was retiring.

5) My Father died my (1st) senior year of college from cancer.  3 days beforehand he signed a new will handing everything to his new wife.

4) I have an older brother, he's played on the server several times

3) I have ignored all this same jibberjabber about "things you don't know about.." on facebook.

2) For a small bit, I was The Pandaren Xpress delivery boy

1) I worked for a semester between high school and college making Dip'n'Dots icecream.  It was actually a fairly dangerous place to work.

This seems dangerous to me. I'm not a fan of guns, but if you're gonna have one it seems like you should have ammo for it. If you use the gun to try to scare someone and they have a loaded gun, you're in deep shit. Also, you can't scare zombies.

As long as other's can't tell if it's loaded or not just by looking at it, I think the chances are just too high for most people to risk it against a big shotty.

Hearing a shotgun being racked is also a nice deterrent. Tongue

A pistol wont necessarily outright kill you depending on where you are hit, a 12 gauge shotgun however, will

I have a friend who was assaulted going home from a bar once, now has a titanium plate in his face and a 12 gauge in his closet.

Yes, I have had this discussion with people before. If you hear that sound and you don't/can't see where it's coming from..

Lets just say you'll need a new pair of pants.

Also, if you were too lazy to reach the phone to order food, wouldn't you be too lazy to open the door to get your delivery?

this might be deserving of a "Guess Rummy's doctorate" thread.

About 8 months ago or so, someone here sent me a private question, asking if it would be ok for them make a thread of "rummy quotes." I said, while I could not stop them, I preferred not. It just seems wrong to me. Thankfully, the person was kind enough to spare me the agony. Now, I do appreciate when send me a tell or a steam message saying that they laughed at a joke, that's cool, hell I'm shooting for laughs (as long as your name is not pronounced "Gee-hoff" I won't ignore you). But I always cringe a little with the public stuff.

10. Pants
All the pants I wear are exactly the same. I have several pairs but they are all the same basic black jeans. This way everything always matches. The side effect is that people tend to think I never change them.

9. Chipped Tooth
I have chipped my front tooth on a knife. I was attempting to open a knife while on a ladder, using the other hand to hold on. The knife had a slot to dig your nail in; it fit nicely over my tooth. Once open I twisted the knife without thinking and it took a bit of my tooth with it.

8. Shooting
When I was younger I used to shoot. I competitively shot a .22 rifle at fifty yards. I was good at it, I have entered several marksmanship competitions but never placed. Since the only public rifle range in the city closed, I have not gotten back into it.

7. Mah Car!
I like Subarus, A lot. I have Subaru banners, stickers, clothes, backpacks, cars, models, etc. I can take one apart with my eyes closed. Just try to ask me about my car Tongue

6. Rally
In my free time I am a mechanic for a Rally America team. We have a *sigh* 1985 VW GTI. I hate VWs! However the sport is outlandishly fun and exciting.
We have been to three events since our start in late 2008, and have finally completed an event. Our first event we rolled and car, and in the second event we suffered catastrophic engine failure. We haven't got the car back into shape yet, and may be moving to a different platform.

5. Lans
Luin and I met at a LAN party. I was a part of the staff of 'Gaming Orgy', we organized 100-200 person LAN parties. You never get to game much when you are on the staff.
Anyways, we became friends and later more.

4. Meh
I want to go back to university for electrical engineering, but I can't be bothered. It would only be for my own interest and wouldn't contribute to my career. I just want to have a better understanding of electronics, I can only go so far with Wikipedia and white-papers.

3. Utility
I always carry a knife, unless I am flying. I currently wear a Buck Bucktool, a Leatherman/Gerber variant. It makes me into MacGyver, only without the mullet. I find I use it roughly two or three times a day.

2. Dairy
I cannot have anything with milk, cheese, dairy, or latic products in it. I suffer from hereditary irritable bowel syndrome and even small amounts will cause me problems. Until it hit me randomly two years ago I was drinking four liters of milk a week and greatly enjoyed cheese. On the plus side I have managed to loose over twenty-five pounds.
FYI; Lays' Potato chips contain milk.

1. Elevators
I have been trapped in several elevators. To date I have yet waited to be rescued. Oddly none of the elevators had rescue phones, instead I would force open the car doors and exit on the nearest floor.

Nice list, Hek. I would be helpless without my victorinox swiss champ and my victorinox cybertool.

And, you dress like Dean Kamen.
