I'm confused here. What if the Pokemon you are using to breed doesn't have the nature you want, and you want something like adamant, how the hell do you go about not breeding 500 eggs to get what you want?

If you breed two pokemon together, and give one an everstone to hold, it will pass down its nature 100% of the time.
If you give one of them any of the EV training items, it will 100% pass down the IVs for that related stat.
This is how you do breeding chains with minimal effort. The only time anyone is going to hatch literally hundreds of eggs is if they are using the Matsuda method to try to get a shiny, which is way more effort than its worth, someone on Reddit's IRC was 650+ charmander eggs into a Matsuda run trying to get a shiny...so much wasted time and so many thrown into the spartan baby pit.
That being said, I don't even futz with natures when it comes to min-maxing, just get the moveset you want and EV train, that's really only the extent I can see people taking it, and it requires maybe a week or two to put together a team depending on your available free time.

I've been putting off finishing my gen V team for a while now, but I can throw it together quickly if I know I'll have the chance to really use it.
Also, does anyone know if a pokemon with pokerus will keep the infection if it's transferred to B/W from a Gen IV game?

Or go to a wifi trading IRC room and ask someone for one, I idle in the reddit one. Things like that which are breedable are pretty much "just ask pretty please and I'll give you one".

If I choose to run it I would not allow for edited/hacked pokemon, though I can't technically check them. Especially if you give them obtainable-but-hard-to-get stats.
