Neat, I'll have to give that magnet trick a try when I put mine together.

Almost done with my Warlord for the escalation league I'm playing this summer, a Keeper of Secrets (one of three I now own ;x). Completely new army for me, Chaos Daemons. The base and sword are 'outer space' blue, I plan on painting them both to look like the night sky.

Re: Modeling Show Off Thread - Gasman - 09-05-2012

This thread is now about multiple tabletop games.

I painted up this blue monster over Labor day with the help of a cousin. Looking at the picture, there are still a couple parts that need touching up, but I think it came out decently enough overall.

I picked a good time to finally give in and start worshipping the Chaos gods.... http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2012/09/40k-csm-latest-rules.html

Saw this on r/warhammer, looks badass as fuck.

Annoyed at how organic that model looks, but that is a pretty sick conversion.

The World of War Games & WarMachine - SubCultures
Saw this up on BoLS, makes me really wish school wasn't eating up so much of my time. I really miss gaming regularly  :'(

Re: Warhammer 40K assembly/painting/ETC tips? - at0m - 01-18-2013

So glad they released more CG minis, the two poses I have kinda suck.

Too bad I don't have the time or energy to really teach anyone in Baltimore how to play though :/ The game shop didn't used to have enough terrain, and of the two demo games I ran at the shop, one fell apart and the other ended with me almost coming to fisticuffs with someone charged with trying to kill his dad. Not cool.

First model from my Fantasy Chaos Warriors is done.

Bringing this thread back from the dead because the new Technical paints are out, and Blood for the Blood God is probably my favorite effect of the bunch, essentially fresh gore in a jar.

Re: - at0m - 11-28-2013

I need to pick up some of those for my WM minis, the rust ones look useful

Mage Hunter Assassins are the shit, I'm doing 2 right now. Think I'll go for more gray than green though. Retribution player?
