Porco Rosso is fucking amazing, watch that. Princess Mononoke is good but I absolutely love Porco. Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro is a clasic.

Also, thoughts on Apollo 18?
You may not get a chance to see it in theaters, it's a bomb.

The Breakfast Club was good, but all of those kids were totally bipolar.

I've had the hots for the brunette who didn't have to be there since I was little.

Watched The Lincoln Lawyer last night.  It was actually pretty good, but the ending was just too convenient.
They manage to catch the murderer because he just happened to get a parking ticket at the house of the first prostitute he killed.  If that hadn't happened he would have gotten away completely free.
Conan: No.  The first 3rd is awesome, but becomes very generic and uninteresting shortly after the love-interest is introduced (surprise, surprise....)

Apollo 18: YES!  Loved it.  Pretty close to what I was hoping for.  The directing, editing (audio and visual) and over-all presentation are awesome.  Acting is decent.  I recommend seeing this one in theares.

Conan: the hadji copy I had was so bad I could see wtf was going on half the time.  Too much talking for a conan movie.

Apollo 18: I had a good hadji copy, and it was OK.  Kinda like what you expect.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 09-16-2011

Army of Darkness was alright. I missed all the gore from the first one. Was funny though.

The Lion King 3D is now playing! Ahhhhh, who's going to watch it?  I think I'll take some time out of my weekend to go see it because it is my fav. Disney movie ever.
