Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-12-2012

Good Will Hunting was good.

Re: The Movie Thread - Trace - 01-13-2012

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil was good

Re: The Movie Thread - Azure_Angel - 01-13-2012

I'm not gonna sift through 200 pages to see if anything's been suggest... So if I repeat something I apologize now. Two movies I really fell in love with are Exit Through the Gift Shop, and Day Night Day Night. Also a really amazing short to see would be Chasing Cotards. That's my 2 cents for now... I'll probably return though.

I streamed that one a few months back and everyone thought it was hilarious.

I agree with these gentlemen.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-14-2012

Watched Best Worst Movie tonight. A little documentary about the aftermath of Troll 2 and its stars, funny, but heartwarming as well. If you're a troll 2 fan you'll appreciate it.

Re: Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 01-14-2012

Saw the Artist today. Fantastic little art house film, really recommend it if you're into silent film!

Re: The Movie Thread - Geoff - 01-15-2012

exit through the gift shop was a good movie except it made every single kid in town want to be the next banksy so there are terrible tags everywhere now

Would you say it was true or fiction though?

Fiction.  The discussion I had about this movie afterwards was what made it so good.

Re: The Movie Thread - Azure_Angel - 01-17-2012

After all day on a film shoot, best way to unwind? Go see a movie! Saw We Bought a Zoo last night, and it was an amazing movie. The writing was brilliant, cinematography had me on the edge of my seat, and you can't help but love the characters (you can never go wrong with a drunk Scotsman with a vengeance). Highly recommend seeing it.

There's a TV show that's actually reasonably entertaining about a privately owned zoo in the UP in Michigan. It's entertaining despite the fact that the wife is like 20 years younger than the husband (and is obviously the second wife when his kids show up in a couple episodes). They actually give a shit, so hard it hurts sometimes.

Re: The Movie Thread - backfire - 01-17-2012

So saw Drag Me to Hell the other night...

That ending had me sitting there motionless for a good couple minutes. Gotta say... that is the way to end a horror film.

Re: The Movie Thread - zaneyard - 01-17-2012

Watched shutter island a few nights ago. it was pretty badass

I won't be able to watch it unless I can stream it online. I'm in Canada.
