LOTR had small funny moments..but it sucked..don't bother seeing. Plus Karth wouldn't like it because it has blasphemous undertones.

Princess Mononoke has a really beautiful soundtrack.
I wish the english dubbing would be on the same quality as spirited away.

Edit: I love how Miyazaki's movies have a deeper metaphor for life in his movies. Spirited Away: The transition from child to adulthood, and Princess Mononoke, the balance between technology and nature, between humans and animals.

Doesn't all anime have that same metaphor?  Most of them at least seem to...

Hmm, I guess I should have worded it as, I love the way Miyazaki portrays the metaphors.
Its all in the execution. Just because its all ice cream doesn't make it delicious.

Re: The Movie Thread - Squishy3 - 06-23-2009

Apparently Transformers also has the biggest explosion involving real actors too. Shia's exact quote was along the lines of "Because Michael works with 10-12 cameras at a time you can't just throw a stunt guy in because it takes months to rig the stuff, only to realize that you're on one of the cameras."

i think actors should all do their own stunts, otherwise they should just go do plays at school

[/quote]I don't think an accidental death is good fun. Maybe it just runs in the Lee family? His son died during a stunt too.

dang i didnt know he died, that sucks.
he was doing some pretty hardcore stunt though, most actors are pansies
