Questions/holes in batman:
1. What happened to the tunnel cat woman opened up? why didn't the school bus go there?
2. How the fuck did Bruce get back to Gotham? He escapes from prison in some desert with a bag of scraps and despite having no money shows up in a locked down city in a damn suit
3. When/how did they get motorcycles in the stock exchange?
3.5 WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE JUST FUCKING HIP CHECK THE MOTORCYCLES AS THEY DROVE AWAY THROUGH THE BARRICADE
Also I'd like everyone to know that the football stadium is that of the steelers and pitt panthers. In only one shot that I saw for a moment you can see one of the giant ketchup bottles on top of the jumbotron. heinz field!

To answer one:
Sure, Catwoman and, presumably, Batman knew. The others wouldn't, as neither character really interacted with Robin (forgot what the Christ he was called actually in the move) after that point.
2:
Magic *snort snort*
3 and 3.5:
It's Goddamn Bane. I sure as hell wouldn't stop him from going where he pleases.
How about this though:

4:
Detective Robin did a logic jump of 60's Batman proportions when he figured out who Bruce Wayne really was. I see people with a hurt expression all the time- I don't usually expect them to be masked crimefighters, though.
Re: The Movie Thread - Coelit - 07-26-2012

I liked Rises and thought it was on par or dare I say better then the previous.

People need to stop nitpicking.

Three Colors: Blue was sad throughout the entire feature. It's one of those movies. Good, though I wish more stuff happened in it.
You're being too harsh on it. It's not like the fucking Resident Evil movies, or the other plethora of bad video game movies. Dungeon Siege, Bloodrayne, etc. Excluding Super Mario Bros., because that was amazing.

I'm going to see it just to spite you, Merc. Because if they keep making video game movies like this instead of the other bad examples that I gave, I'm all for it. It could be much, much worse. Plus Sean Bean and Kit Harington. They have good actors.

You forgot to add Mortal Combat: Annihilation to the exclusion list. That movie is legendary.

And I'm going to see it; I'm just expecting to be bitterly disappointed like I was with Max Payne.

Re: The Movie Thread - matter11 - 07-28-2012

Saw human centipede 2. If you enjoyed the first one I'd recommend it. It's has a significantly higher amount of torture porn than the first one did but shooting in black and white gave it the sharp artistic look that blood has in B/W.
Just like the first one, the movie promises shocking images and delivers but is entirely carried by the performance of the villain. Both films did a fantastically phenomenal job with casting their respective villains and each are worlds apart from one another in terms of personality, lifestyle, and motivation.
This isn't really a spoiler but the premise of the film is that a disturbed man (putting it lightly) becomes obsessed with the first film and carries it out.

Just saw The Batman. Liked it. Would have been better if Patrick Stewart directed it...

Given that his jaw can't really move with his mask on, it's a safe bet that all of his dialog was looped. It seemed like they could have taken the processing down a notch though.

Re: The Movie Thread - zaneyard - 07-30-2012

So how about the new superman movie? story by Nolan. Kinda got me in the mood to start watching Smallville again.

Ain't gonna lie, bro. I liked Smallville. It was pretty good.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 07-31-2012

Jackie Brown was alright, way too slow for my own personal tastes.

I wet myself a little...

Re: The Movie Thread - zaneyard - 08-04-2012

So I went to go see the amazing spider man last night and it exceeded my expectations greatly. I found myself accidentally clenching my hands into a fist often throughout the movie because of how intense it was.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 08-06-2012

Spartacus was pretty impressive. It's got all the things an epic should have: huge cast, massive battles, ladies, and one hell of a score. Apparently it was fairly controversial at the time of release as well, a few scenes alluding to homosexuality were cut during the original release.
