The LEGO® Movie - Official Teaser Trailer [HD]

Will Arnett is Batman. Pretty much all you need to know.
Must see

Looks great! Plus it has the directing/writing team of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street. Can't wait for this one.

Re: The Movie Thread - rumbot - 06-19-2013

jesus christ, the trailer for RED2 is just too perfect. I hope they didn't give away the whole plot, though.

I haven't been to the theater for a new release in years, but shit this too pitch-perfect to my ears.

Argo

I recommend it at the VERY least a rental,
it was very good. I am considering purchasing it.

http://twitchfilm.com/2013/06/check-the-first-poster-art-for-monty-python-reunion-picture-absolutely-anything.html

The picture is titled Absolutely Anything and features the Pythons who grant a schoolteacher (Cumberbatch) the power to do absolutely anything so that they can be amused as he cocks it up. Robin Williams voices a talking dog.

I pray this is as good as it sounds.

I'm looking forward to Pacific Rim. A lot.

Same, watch the thing, as recommended by more musicals of movies

John Carpenter's THE THING: THE MUSICAL

next up on my list is evil dead 2 and anything that may seem remotely interesting on netflix

Re: The Movie Thread - rumbot - 06-26-2013

I didn't expect that a musical without arnold would be great.

glad to see I can still be wrong sometimes. That sinatra voice was great.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 06-27-2013

Saw Man of Steel today. Was kind of shocked when I walked out, not for good reasons. So much needless destruction, so much death, so much grimdark where it shouldn't belong(and bad writing). I didn't hate nor think it was a bad movie, I'm just not really sure if this is what a movie about Superman should be like.

Re: The Movie Thread - at0m - 06-27-2013

Heard 'Meh' things about World War Z, heard 'ZOMG AMAZING' things about Warm Bodies.

I kinda figured WWZ was going to be pretty meh... but yeah, we've got a couple friends who are like "SEE WARM BODIES"  which was surprising.

has anyone seen it?

Re: The Movie Thread - Live-Free-Or-Pie - 07-02-2013

Warm Bodies is a CW romance at its core with a legit zombie film built around it. Tropes are acknowledged and dealt with well. Patience is required because it's painfully slow to get going (shambling pace, hyuk hyuk). Recommended if you like zombie movies.

Video Game High School

While finding out after the fact that it wasn't a "real" movie(web series) it was on Netflix and I rolled the dice. Turned out loving it and only movie I have seen to use nope.avi in a correct sensible form! I would highly recommend to anyone on BRBU. There are so many references and every gamer will enjoy.

Got into a free screening of Pacific Rim. Pretty cool if you like watching giant robots fight giant lizards.

I enjoyed most of it, but there was a certain scene that made me want to walk out of the theater because it was probably the most retarded thing I've ever seen/heard.

I thought it was really fun. Is the plot amazing? No, but it's not the center piece and really only serves as a vehicle to have robots fight monsters. Are the fight scenes awesome? Hell yes.
