Alien Resurrection is a pretty campy film with a really boring plot and some mediocre action sequences.

However, I really liked the ending.

i realize im late on this and i apologise. isnt the ending where the baby alien gets sucked out of the space ship and first it takes like 30 seconds which was stupid and more importantly the thing says MOMMA? because that wasnt so good dude infact it was downright terrible
like many other action movies I like, it had good action sequences, the plot was just terrible. the baby getting sucked out the pinhole in the window while crying MAMA was just funny, idk how you guys didnt think that was funny. the only part i really didnt enjoy was watching ridley with a queen alien balls deep in her vag.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 09-20-2009

Finally got around to watching Hitchcock's infamous "Psycho".

Was pretty good, glad I watched it.

Re: The Movie Thread - Tricoden - 09-24-2009

Guys, I need help remembering a movie. I can't remember how shitty it was or whether or not it was a TV Episode, but I'm fairly sure it was a movie.

All I remember is that during the movie at some point the main character is shown as a child in the backseat of his (or her) parent's car. At this point, I believe the car is blown up, or his/her parents are killed in some way. Much later in the story it is revealed that the antagonist was either his/her brother and was in the car with him, or they some how got switched during that accident.

I realize this is pretty vague, but man this is bothering me. Any help? :O

Edit: Lol, pretty sure it's Goldmember.

IMO, the theatrical cut is better. I love the above mentioned scene, but everything else they added was pretty unnecessary.

Re: The Movie Thread - Surf314 - 09-27-2009

Surrogates was enjoyable. Anyone that likes it though has to read the comic books. They are extremely different and will present a different side to a very interesting premise. Also the prequel is better so get that too.
They didn't add anything to the director's cut Karth. They cut stuff out in the theatrical version.

Eh, it was ok. Saw it tonight with friends. Wasn't long enough for what it could've been.

I honestly don't know why they changed so much. I mean the comic kinda had better action and it made more sense and you could of either expanded it to movie length or put both comics in one movie.

What the Hell else would they call it? World Miraculously Becomes Hollow: The Movie? The only questions I have about the trailer is why the plane pilot needs to fly as low as possible, and why the meteors only cause tiny ass explosions. Or are those volcano boulders?

Re: The Movie Thread - Luinbariel - 10-04-2009

Zombie land was pretty awesome!

I will definitely legitimately purchase this one sometime soon.
