if you loved the 1st, it's def worth going to see.  It's not a wicked awesome movie, but its more of the same and a lot of laughs.  Some things are way over done and it lags on near the end, but on the whole a really decent sequel in my eyes...

also... seems like they're going for a 3rd if they can afford it haha

I kinda want to see it, but it depresses me that a movie that didn't need a sequel now has one that can't live up to the original.

Modern Times

How come I've never seen a Charlie Chaplin film before? It was hilarious!

I've seen this recently.

It was better than expected, we studied it in Modernism, though, which kind of killed the enjoyment factor for me.

Wach his Tonight Show appearance, it's on Hulu. IT WAS AMAZING

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 11-07-2009

Saw "The Men who Stare at Goats"

I liked it a lot. Only complaint is that in the middle it dragged on for a bit, but the payoff at the end is ENTIRELY worth it. I recommend it.

George Clooney

Obviously a must watch

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 11-09-2009

For whatever reason, I watched "Fired Up!".

There was some good elements to the movie, a few of the characters had a few laughs, a few of the girls were hot, but it ultimately fails as a comedy and is pretty stupid.

But going into detail on a generic romantic comedy isn't really necessary. It was pretty dumb.

I liked how all the ads for that movie had the letters sized so it looked like F U! from far away.

It was supposed to look that way, was a joke in the movie. AND GUESS WHAT. THAT'S RIGHT, IT WASN'T FUNNY.

Good news everyone, Roger Ebert is a perfectly normal human being.

And also, I am completely dumbfounded and shocked.
