Plus, just rented The Hangover yesterday and it was funny as hell!
The Hangover was awesome, can't comment on 2012. Hangover was fucking hilarious.

Hangover was good, everything I've heard about 2012 is that it is horrible and you end up rooting for the people to die because the characters aren't worth caring about

I've heard it was the best comedy of the year!

They probably didn't die huh

Cause it's gonna be an unoriginal "WE'RE GONNA D- hey we lived!" kind of story plot.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 11-27-2009

Watched both The Longest Yard (2005) and The Blind Side.

The Longest Yard was pretty stupid, had a few funny moments, but not much else to offer.

The Blind Side I was expecting to hate, but surprisingly ended up enjoying it. Did run a bit long at 126 minutes.

With that said, I am overloaded with football movies.

(Also, my cousin is movie retarded. He refuses to watch anything older than ten years and hates claymation. It's pretty friggin annoying)

Re: The Movie Thread - Turtle - 11-28-2009

I just watched Transformers Revenge of the fallen

We just watched it for the pewpew since we totally knew the plot was gonna suck.

I do enjoy watching megan fox run in slow motion the good parts

also at the very end my friend was walking down with popcorn and he got down just in time to hear Megatron yell "starscreen!" after being shot in the face with a laser gun. my friend said "did he just say ice cream?" the way Megatron yelled and him saying ice cream like that just made me laugh.

the other at school we all crammed into the auditorium and they were playing transformers 2 on a projector.  when megan fox came out on the motorcycle everybody cheered for about 3 minutes straight.  it was amazing.

Re: The Movie Thread - Coppanuva - 11-28-2009

Just saw The Road, and I think it was definitely worth seeing. If you have something against depressing movies, don't see it. Otherwise, as a fan of the book, I was not let down by the movie. IT stayed close to the book, with the addition of some flashback scenes (they fit in well), and is worth seeing. The main actors (The Man and The Boy) were both very good at their roles.
