Gene Wilder, easily. I love Johnny, but dear god that performance was atrocious.

As bad as Rummy playing HeK?

I thought Depp was alright. Given the high bar.

I thought the remake was awful on it's own. Both Corpse Bride and Charlie really make me wonder how they have such high critic scores.

Re: The Movie Thread - [SiN] Merc - 09-04-2010

I was such a sucker for Gene Wilder films.

He has so many awesome memories for me, like Willy Wonka, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein. Gah, he was such an integral part of my childhood.

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 09-04-2010

First Blood was great.

also, Merc:

Gene Wilder is one of my favorite actors.

On a completely different note: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo holy shit man. It's good but I dunno how much on screen rape I can take.

[/quote]Haha, my dad just got the book from the library and then I saw that on Netflix. There's more books in that series, wonder if they'll make them into a movie too.

The Cove.

And you thought whaling was still bad.

Re: The Movie Thread - Hobospartan - 09-09-2010

Just got home from an advance showing of Resident Evil Afterlife.  As far as RE movies go it was good, but I swear, it would've been half as long if they didn't use slow-motion  :-\

Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 09-10-2010

Tears of the Sun was alright. I was hoping for a lot more out of that movie.

Re: The Movie Thread - rumsfald - 09-10-2010

Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 09-12-2010

Still deciding if I'm gonna wait for RE.  I know what I'm going in for with the last 3, basically a big budge B-Movie, but they are entertaining still.  Might just save my money though.  Put it towards a game next month since there's a couple.

Save it, I got the pass for free, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone to see it.

Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 09-12-2010

Yeah I figured as much.  The 3D is not enough to really get me to see it either.  It was cool with Avatar, but it's not something I want to see in every film out there.
