This probably factored into why you only have to play the demo. At 5bux you can still get buyer's remorse.
That said, I'm disappointed in the fact that New Vegas did not receive a discount.

I have plenty of other games on my list that I have and want to play through more than New Vegas. Unless it's on sale, I can wait.

You can also blame PSN for misleading me into making a purchase because of a deal I thought was continuing, so my budget became somewhat shorter.

All of them are on sale now. It might've just been like in previous daily sales where it takes a little while for the discounts to actually show up. Also I've noticed that if you've already completed the objective for a game, it doesn't show that the game is on sale on the treasure hunt page.
