Dota 2

So out of the 5 non bot games I've played so far, there was at least 2 leavers in 4 of them. Is this normal or am I just unlucky? Also, not doing as bad as I thought I would be doing. Still need to get used to the courier, but I'm enjoying the parts that don't have half of a team disconnect.

I've had disconnects in a few of my games but they pretty much always reconnect.

I suspect that's maybe because you play mainly with friends?

As someone who has played many games with all pubbers I can say I've had disconnects in a good 40% of them.  It sucks balls.

You ain't shitting me .  No one wants to work as a team.  Everyone just going in different directions and doing their own thing.  So damn annoying.

• Half the team only speaks Russian
  Everyone refuses to fight
  No one will buy wards
  No one will buy Chicken or if I buy it won't upgrade it to flying
  Endless feeding
  Pick all carries
  Ping the map constantly and then never do anything related to that ping
  

The list goes on and fucking on.  I had the list above repeated my last five games, word for word.  Either I'm getting better or the teams are getting worse, because it's fucking torture suddenly.  Ugh.

Fuck the win ratio.  I'm at something like 70-82. Personally I think the game would be less stressful if it just didn't keep track of losses at all.

Stats are probably gonna reset anyways so I watevs. I know I'm decent even if my stats don't reflect it  :p

I get a lot more satisfaction from looking at my heroes played tab than my win:loss ratio anyways.  Also too bad no dual hero release this week, but at least we get brewmaster. Eschatos you were right about dota 2 not coming out of beta anytime soon  :'(

I just played VS as a solo lane, got like 6 kills in the first 15-20 minutes, dominated my lane, took the tower, grouped up and was pwning bitches, about to build a desolator, then got a call from a job I'm trying to get, had to leave, came back 5 min later to 2 team wipes, no desolator, their team is now kicking ass in team fights, we lose in the next 10 minutes.

Also tell me if this makes sense. I'm playing with 2 friends. We pick lion, VS, and nature's prophet. They pick nothing until creeps have spawned. Their picks are silencer and OD. WTF?
