Compare this game to the demo. Does it still look like shit? Does everything feel slow and clunky? Also, are the other MP gamemodes any fun unlike all out death match?

It looks lovely. Its never seemed clunky or slow, everything is fairly well paced. And as I said, I never played the multiplayer yet.

Mulriplayer is awesome.  Theres more than 6 maps but I believe you gotta rank up to unlock them.

Sort of off topic, but what the fuck is it with developers and making the player unlock stuff? I'm OK with it to an extent, but having to rank up to unlock maps? That sounds like horse shit.

It looks much better than tf2. Runs better too. Can't really think of any other games I've played recently that can compare with, sorry (never actually launched the demo either). Will comment on more once I really get into it later this week.

i will say though, don't even think about alt-tabbing with this game. jesus it's bad. much worse than if you try with tf2. looks beautiful tho


edit: nvm, can do Alt+Enter to switch to windowed mode, makes alt-tabbing much better.

ohgod, the multiplayer is so good with a few people playing together in vent. it has it's kinks, sure (ranked matches are for the moment, nearly impossible to find so good luck unlocking anything), and if some retard with a terrible connection ends up hosting, have fun with 1000 ping, but for the most part it is pretty damn fun once you find a lobby/host that has their heads on straight.

There's def some balancing that needs to be done (nearly all of preds attacks are basically instagib in multi, having that many instagib attacks, as well as a cloak, the ability to leap huge distances to run away, and the ability to recharge health is - in a word - retarded). And yet for all it's flaws it's still really fucking fun to play. The tension and suspense from the films is very much there (god damn monkeys are jumping around in the god damn trees and they're killing us out there, we gotta find better cover!), but not so much that it's suffocating or detracts from the gameplay. would write more but g2g maybe ill update later

Kay so, after some investigating, my guesstimate that maps unlock is false.

Maps have player limits, since my friend was hosting at the highest limit he could only choose from two maps, the lower the player limit the more maps available.  My guess is this was done to keep small maps from getting crowded but it seems stupid to me.

Also the inability to do ranked matches with parties is dumb >:|

Shit this game is scary. Voice acting is P bad but it definitely captures the feel of the original game and movies.
