Sound quality is nice and the headphones feel light on my head, but prob the best part for me is that the cups are big enough to fit your whole ear in them so no pinching or smushing. As for voice quality you guys would have to tell me what the receiving end is like. Plus it has a voice changer built in it... lol.

It actually seems they have a rebate going on atm... http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-7-1-Chann...B001O5CCQK comes out to $74 damn that's nice.

So plug it in the jack on the mobo/soundcard and be done with it, fuck the case ports.

It turned out to be a driver issue which I fixed.

Yes the bridge rests on your ear. It isn't uncomfortable however. They're nice and solid, I recommend them.
Buy them from Newegg.
Disregard they're fixer-uppers if you buy from Newegg.
Note- fuck those reviews. I have owned these for about 3 years and they work great.

My second Fatality Mk2 just broke, same way as the last pair. I don't think I'll buy the same this time. Anyone care to recommend another pair?

Already planned on it. Any recommendations for a desktop mic? I think I found a pair of headphones I'll use.

I recommend headphones that can give you surround sound. Medic auto call at 100% is like having sonar on all your teammates at once.

[/quote]I prefer stereo array mics myself when my headset's unavailable, but you basically have to have a soundcard/motherboard that comes with one, otherwise it probably won't work when you plug it in.

So, thinking about this combo. Any objections?

Alright, ordered.

Open air. My roomate would end up being bothered by the sound leakage.

But he wouldn't be bothered by you talking on voice chat?

I usually type when he's around, which is why I've been quieter these last few months (save the past 2 weeks).

But I listen to music whether he's around or not.

So I finally wore out my Logitech Clearchats (bundled with my Unreal Tournament 2003 Special Edition, to give an idea of how old they were) last night. The plastic body of the ear pieces cut through the foamy sides and were cutting into my head and ears.

Good night sweet prince:

So I stopped into Memory Express and picked up a set of Sennheiser PC151.

Decent set for $32 (c-c-c-c-c-combo discounts. Ask me how).

Very comfortable and light. A little too much bass tho.
Cord is cheap and thin, a little too long for a computer headset. Mic claims to be noise canceling. We'll see how well it sounds in mumble.
