Kia Ora! I'm Azure Angel, or Kiwi for short. I love ponies and dolls and the colour pink... No seriously I'm a New Zealand girl who love sports AND video games. I'm an aspiring filmmaker, and have already worked on a few shows for MTV and VH1.  Anyways I'm really nice and very easy to get along with. You can't anger me unless you go out of your way to (please don't). That's all, and I hope we can all be friends (Except Dizdo)!

I'm kidding, I'm not studying film so I've never used AVID nor Final Cut. My friend is using Final Cut at school but has AVID at home, says AVID's too complicated.

Avid IS way too complicated if you're coming from Final Cut or Premier Pro. If you're starting out or coming from... *shudders* Windows Movie Maker... Then You'll have no issue with Avid. Personally I think Avid can burn in hell though.  ;D

AVID, from my understanding of the program so far, has the ability to one-up any sort of editing suite out there, but it takes a master of the craft to be able to use it at it's full potential. I've toyed with Final Cut, but I'm mainly coming from Windows Movie maker Sony Vegas. So I'm boned.

Lol yea... But that could take a few years to master, and a lot of post houses are making the switch to Final Cut Pro 7 (Not X). Coming from Vegas is easier to go to Final Cut from what I've heard. They just cost so much...

Seriously. Even though I don't like the program, I'm really tempted to pick up a copy of AVID at my school. It's only $300 in the bookstore.
