None of the previews have sold me on the versus mode yet but a lot of them did say that watching videos really doesn't do justice to the boss infected gameplay.

That's odd, Left 4 Dead is the last game I'd ever play with randoms.  I'm not interested in being teamkilled when I can just play with friends.

pretty sure there's no friendly fire. valve assumes (probably rightfully so) that this game is gonna be a noob magnet

As awesome as I think this will be, I wish it would let there be more people playing, like the option to have more survivors, or have more humans controlling zombies, maybe RTS like, move your hoards around, ect.

I'd kinda like it if the spectators could choose to be normal zombies, and charge along with the rest of the horde. ;D

I remember them saying when you were like on the ground getting your ass raped by zombies FF would be off so that people wouldn't have to think about not shooting you in that squirming mass of undead.

No friendly fire in a zombie co-op game? That'd make it about 50% less fun.

It's too bad there is FF. You could probably turn it off somehow if you so desired..but like I said..a hell of a lot less fun.

They've said multiple times that it can't be turned off, but they'll probably make a cvar.

Huh, I Pre-Purchased it, entered in all the right info, and the confirmation email: but all that comes up is a Install Window titled: "Install -", that states "You are about to install". But the only non grayed out option is "cancel" What should I do? I'm afraid to cancel it, as I really don't want to have to spend $50 twice.

You probably just can't install yet.  Cancelling shouldn't do anything bad.
