This thread is to figure out who has Half Life 1. You need the original not the source. This is to find out who can play HL mods on thursdays, so if you have it and want to play them please indicate with your vote.

You would need the older, non-source version to run the mods. Whether you got it through steam or from a CD is irrelevant (I hope I answered the right question). I don't have HL1. Used to play it on a friend's account, and never had a reason to get it once i had my own. Some of the mods are nice, but I think HL1 itself is a HIGHLY overrated game.
