In case you haven't heard this Thursday is going to be all zombie mod night so just vote for it and talk everyone else into voting for it.  Otherwise you could always just pull a Dave (although hopefully showing up on time  )

It won't matter... in case you haven't heard, we're still going to be in Texas on thursday and I STILL won't be able to play. I'm not really super upset, I was just kidding. I'll certainly vote for it and look into it later when I'm back. I can wait for the next one.

We should do the Garry's Mod mod, Zombie Survival. It's significantly better then Zombie Panic. For one it doesn't get old as fast, is paced better and works with 20-100 players (game-play wise, technical support on the other hand.....).

Oh shit I didn't even see that was being asked for... my reading skills are teh suck. Yes, it is nicer than zombie panic from what I can tell; I was chatting with someone about this in the channel, forget who, and I also forget the main difference between them. I think its something like this:

In zombie survival, there are many types of zombies to choose from. As the zombie team progresses, they can unlock different classes such as headcrab, fast headcrab, poison zombie/headcrab, etc. Also, for the survivor team, you start off with only one weapon but as you as a player progress (i.e., do well) you unlock other weapons such as a barricade gun and other more powerful handguns.

Yes people do tend to barricade themselves in rooms or behind things, but in the G-Mod zombie survival version, as a zombie, you can have strategy as well by choosing a different class, one that may or may not be better suited for the situation. Also you are rewarded for doing well as a survivor, so either team is pretty good.

Usually when I play I just find a particular server called "zombie survival" and play there. I can't yank up the rest of the info atm unfortunately, but can get it when I get home.

Yes, Gary's mod is required... but if you ask me, its totally worth it for reasons I'm sure someone has already preached. It's not that expensive and hours of retarded fun...
