I kinda regret getting a slim. It feels so cheap and plastic-y, and the speakers are shit compared to my phat.

I've been told about how cheap it feels, but the speakers shouldn't matter as most of the time I'd use headphones anyways.

Yea there are some upcoming titles that look awesome and it's one of the reasons I'm looking into getting one. I'm just trying to weigh the pros and cons of hackability vs. a better all around SKU that hasn't been hacked yet.

I haven't really seen much of a difference in load times. The one thing I do really like about my 2001 is that I can plug it into my TV. I think I played through most of Mana Khemia like that. Which is a totally awesome game.

MH is the shit, it's better if you have a friend with a PSP though. Also download Portable 2G not MHF2, it's got way more shit. It's like Phantasy Star but with an actual difficulty curve and pretty unique weapons. <3 u Gunlance. It's a gun that shoots fire. >:O

I was having trouble finding an adequate/awesome memory solution. If you haven't noticed...16G Duos are like 100 bucks, but lo and behold I bear the fruit of my research.

This easily gives me a 32G solution for a little less than the same price as the 16G card is now. This makes me lean towards CFW instead of OFW. Still can't decide tho.

CFW is worth every penny. (lol pun.) And all your stuff you buy off the PS Store will work too, you just have to fiddle with settings. If I didn't have CFW I'd probably barely play my PSP. The collection has grown, but I still barely play it except for emulators and stuff.

Yeah I have a microSD adapter and it works great. The XBM reads it a little slower but in game everything runs as fast as a normal Memorystick
