NEEDS MOAR RAM.

Also, you could probably shave some case on both the CPU and MoBo by going for an AMD processor without much of a decrease in performance.

I don't really have any of those problems. But their memory controller isn't as good so you have to make sure you buy RAM that works best with AMD.
I think I'll stick with Intel just because they've earned my trust so far. I'm not planning on overclocking either. (Lol I'm even considering if my dad would let me. He doesn't trust overclocking in the slightest.)
Also, should I spend some money on a nice sound card, or will my stock one be fine?
I don't see any audio ports on that motherboard :Smile

I don't really have any of those problems. But their memory controller isn't as good so you have to make sure you buy RAM that works best with AMD.

$10 says dropdown searches on newegg for mobtherboards with specific CPU Slot/RAM Slot requirements.
also stick with the i5 750
How big of a difference is there between i5 and i7 beside the price?

My CPU temp tops out at 42C with TF2 running at max everything along with other programs running on my second screen.

No issues at all with it.



i have a amd phenom and wish i'd gone intel :-[
