New Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart 8, and apparently new Super Smash Brother's and Mario Kart 8 are pretty good. Oh yeah, there's also New Super Smash Brothers, and Mario Kart 8. And a new zelda...

mario kart 8 is good

i'm not terribly excited for smash though, until they announce some characters

Nintendo eShop is having a sale for the next couple of weeks where different games that feature SSB characters will be discounted every week. This week has a lot of Mario games and Punch Out on sale, most of it Virtual Console stuff, but Super Mario 3D Word is down to $40 which is probably the cheapest you're gonna find it for a while outside of Ebay.

I have Mario 3D World, was very good.

Also if/when it goes on sale, get Earthbound if you've never played it

Yeah I got it a while ago. It's fun, definitely a different take on the JRPG genre.

What's also cool is that 3D World is the first mainline mario title that Miyamoto wasn't involved in. The game turned out phenomenal and that's a great sign for Nintendo's future.
