Because of last week's mishaps, this week's FNF will be last week's FNF. The theme will be, again, technology, because we need the tools to fight the robot menace that lurks around us, and within us.

We start off on cp_science, since like all good discoveries, technology is created through the endeavors of Science! (regular playing here, the top two point scorers will have the honors of being the team captains on the third map)

Next, we will observe the wondrous animatronics created by Disney's engineers on koth_disneyland and do a bit of engineering ourselves. (this is going to be the oddball map in the bunch because everyone is going to conduct a social experiment. We are all (hopefully) going to make a complex chain of teleporter traps involving everyone except one person, and the last person is going to go spy and take said telly tarp chain over and over again. No killing and no destroying buildings, lest you get half-assed glares from me. If we start hemorrhaging players, we will change to the next map instantly)

In order to create the schematics for our own machines so we can compete with our handsome competitors, we will form two separate lab groups and pug on cp_mountainlab (top two scorers of science will be the team captains here)

Finally, we will fight for supremacy over the cp_foundry that holds the materials with which we will forge the devices that will propel us among the gods! (rps for a few rounds to finish off)
brb history

when I first came to brbu and started perusing the extensive list of custom maps, I'd always wanted to play disneyland. I nominated it every round on full servers for some time before it was finally chosen. I was so excited to finally see the map. We played for maybe a full minute before the brbu hivemind dismissed the map as bad and the uproar of nerdrage caused us to immediately change maps.
somebody must make koth_chuckecheese
Damn, gonna miss it, going to see ParaNorman tonight.

haarp, the best map that downies never want to play

also it doesn't show up in nominate STILL
Might start a bit late, got some Sourcemod issues that Caff's taking a look at. We'll get seeding once we're good to go.
Was planning on joining this for a little bit, but Steam and TF2 have been uncooperative and something or other is refusing to update.

You didn't miss much. Sourcemod had to be taken down just so anyone could join red, the map couldn't be changed and most everyone left in the middle of science.
Sad

I'll avoid scheduling scrims for friday night.

Eh, we were boned either way. Needed more regs.

Gasman, feel free to try next week if you like, just edit the title with 8/24 and maybe throw an [UPDATED] tag at the front to make it obvious. Whatever you want to do.
Let's try this again.
