Be Right Back, Uninstalling

Since I've really enjoyed playing FTB Unlimited on my own computer but am tired of lag from my computer being old I bought a Minecraft server to host FTB for me so if anyone here would like to join my server the ip is:

Because the latest 1.4.7 ftb server got corrupted and wouldn't start we're moving up to and updated version of the 1.5 beta v0.5 pack.

FTB:

• Download the client Feed The Beast
  
• Open the launcher
  
• Click on the "OPTIONS" tab
  
• Set "Install folder..." to some where you'll remember
  
• Create a profile with your MC credentials.
  
• Select the "MODPACKS" tab and click on the Private Packs button.
  
• Enter 152wgt into the text field and click Add.
  
• Scroll down, on the left side of the launcher, to FTB 1.5.2 Beta with GT and select it.
  
• Click launch and let it set everything up then close FTB.
  
• I have updated most of the mods that are in this pack and added a few so you will have to download 152wgt.zip here and extract it somewhere you'll remember
  [li]Now comes the tricky bit. Navigate to your FTB Install folder and overwrite the contents of the 152wgt folder with the 152wgt folder that's in the 152wgt.zip

Launch the beta again and if you did everything right ftb should startup without a problem

You can now Join the server by connecting to ftb.brbuninstalling.com in the multiplayer menu.

HeK can do it, and if you'd like I can add this to the server info thread with any additional info you'd like to post up, just edit your thread and I"ll copy it out of a quote.

Okay I updated the information in the first post so if anyone want's to play they can properly join without config problems.

FTB Ultimate updated so there's a new config since the old get's overridden.

There any way to get texture packs for this mod? I'm getting rather tired of the default minecraft textures.

ah minecraft the only game i know of that can lock up my computer because it uses 90% of my cpu

I dloaded this.  Tracedarkwind showed me some stuff in it.

Updated Info on how to connect to the server now that we switched to the 1.5.2 beta.

Do everything that has to do with the private pack and downloading my minecraft.zip file it has all the updates for the mods in it.

Thanks! I enjoyed what little time I spent on this mod until I got kicked or something (the error you talked about). Good to know it's not just me that it hates.

YOU CHEATING MONSTER

The Natura mod need updated on anyone's client who has joined the 1.5.2 server before 6/26/2013,

Download it here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4276...ra_2.1.jar

and rename it to just Natura.jar

Then you'll overwrite the Natura.jar file in the "ftb install folder/152wgt/minecraft/mods/" folder with the one you downloaded and renamed.

The minecraft.zip file in the first post has already been updated to the new Natura so newbies don't have to worry.

Don't update in the launcher if you do it will overwrite the minecraft.zip i gave you. I'll make a new minecraft.zip soon for their updated pack. In the mean time our pack is the 0.5 version i believe.

I just updated the server to the 0.7 release of the 1.5.2 beta and since we have extra mods I've made a new 7zip of the 152wgt folder. So once I update the top post download the new zip and completely overwrite the 152wgt folder.

Please do not update to version 0.8 of the beta. Select 0.7 in the drop down menu that says "recommended" and launch the beta that way. When the official pack come out for 1.5.2, depending on when it's released( I really don't want restart like for a few weeks still) we'll make a new world and will probably just use the default pack at that time so we don't have to do any extra crap like we're doing now.

So don't worry about the next official release.

When's that update supposed to drop? I got fired and I've got plans of things to build now... XD
