have you ever tried the Copperhead?
I've never tried a logitech mouse that was more than 20 dollars so I have no right to argue which one is better.
I like the cracked blue, gives it some oomph

Best mouse ever. I own SEVEN

Actually just two, but that's because the first is like 6 years old and I wanted it to look pretty again.
Yeah the MX518 and G5 and basically the same thing, but one has the weights and costs $10 more.  I personally need the weights =X.
weights ftw.
i use 5lb weights in mine, so strong!
500 lb. weights in mine for added realism when i play heavy
Just got my G5.  It is fucking awesome.  Expect to see me annhilating you bitches in TF2 now.
Don't lie Eschatos, we all know you don't play TF2.

Need help with my gaming mouse

He's been despondent since the news about Duke Nukem Forever came out.
Bumping as a PSA:

Don't buy a Razer Mamba. Don't know about other Razer products and their quality, but the plastic casing for the USB dongle just fell apart. It looks sexy as fuck, but it's overpriced and it feels cheap.

Time to see if it's under warranty....

RAZER MAMBA POS UPDATE:

The squeaky scroll wheel was irritating and the broken usb dongle made it look a bit uglier and harder to plug in, but I could live with it...

But now it has tracking issues too, making it impossible to game with and supremely annoying for regular use. It's under warranty, but my dad tossed the receipt.

So, what does BRBU have to about gaming mice? I want one that will last. Here are some thoughts I came up with while browsing mice:

The RAT 7 Cyborg mouse looks cool and I love the customization since I can make it fit my hand perfectly, but many reviews site reliability issues...

My brother has a Logitech G5 (popular mouse, it seems), but I don't like the click and button feel. I prefer a light, snappy/clicky feel when dealing with mouse buttons, but the G5 buttons feel somewhat spongy. The shape of the mouse feels a bit odd to me too, but it isn't bad and I'd likely get used to it. I'd have to test out a G500 to see if they have changed either of those things that at all.

I'm interested in the Logitech G9x and G700 as well, though I worry about the comfort of the G9x and the fact that the G700 is wireless and has a shitton of buttons worries me a bit... more things to break.

Razer looks so damn sexy and the comfort is there, especially with the silky soft rubberized pads on the side of the Mamba, but the quality and price piss me off.

I'm half tempted to install the guts of a Razer mouse into a Logitech...

Anyone ever try a Steel Series mouse?
