I just played a versus match in swamp fever. Here's what happened.

1. Our team immediately got switched to infected at the beginning of the round. As in, we were survivors for a second.
2. Our team spawned a tank, which isn't weird, but then spawned another tank immediately after the first one died.
3. Once all the survivors died, they escaped on the boat. When they were 33% through the level.
4. We never got to play as survivors.

Definitely one way to keep things fresh with the game when you can alter and change most everything now.  I knew about the weapons thing for abit now, since someone has been working on adding a fully function sledgehammer into L4D2 about a week or two ago.

He talks about how family friendly the 360 is because it lets you do things like cut zombies in half with a chainsaw. It then shows about 3 seconds of footage from the intro video where Ellis gets smokered and Coach chainsaws it off. No formal mention.
