So Versus kept bugging me to buy this game. It's preloading now. Hope it'll be better than World at War (nothing against it; I just thought the story was overdone and the multiplayer was uninteresting).

This looks to be a mix of what WaW did and what MW2 is doing, and then fine tuning that by taking out stuff that made people rage in MW2 lol I'm hoping for better things, but I'm ambitiously cautious.  I'm not expecting the greatest game ever, but I'm hoping for a much better experience to MW2.

I wouldn't say that.  WaW had some good ideas to it and of course wasn't MW2.  Multiplayer was not bad at all, though Singleplayer was pretty awful.  I played it for an hour or two and just hated the AI with every fiber of my being, getting the most perfect grenade throws and being able to peg me at a distance behind cover cause an inch of my helmet was showing.

If they fix that, it'll at least make it somewhat worth playing.

gonna run just TDM instead of TDM/domination for a bit just so we can get used to the maps, also i am pretty sure more people will be looking for servers running "Team Deathmatch" playlist instead of "Team Tactical" and then excluding CTF/demolition/S&Dwhich is basically the only way to run both TDM and domination on the same server

It costs many money and all of you will probably play it for 2 weeks until the next war game comes out, so that's a lot of money for a risky commitment. Mang.

Well seeing that the next war game is sometime next year, being probably Battlefield 3, I'll play this awhile till then, unless I end up not liking the game.  Though I think I will, I mean, heck, I played Medal of Honor for a week and that game was not nearly as interesting as Black Ops lol
