Apparently Valve are looking into cross-play between L4D and L4D2. Maybe the maps from L4D2 will work with L4D1, and you can play with people from L4D2? Maybe a super hard difficulty campaign that allows for 8 players 4 being the old Survivors and 4 being the new Survivors.

from what i understood L4D2 was going to be backwards compatible
L4D isn't going to have the new stuff in it so yeah...

Yeah, but it'd be cool if there were cross-campaigns with 4 people playing as the old survivors and 4 as the new survivors and they had their own quips between them and everything.

They should let you do the new levels with the old group, just so we can get a whole new list of things francis hates, like the french quarter, the swamp, hurricanes, rednecks, the south, and Ron Paul

You guys post fast. I edited that last post with a picture of a mudman. Also, we apparently get AK-47's and grenade launchers now. There is also a video where somebody threw some kind of new grenade. I'm not quite sure what it was doing.

So after watching it again, I realized that new throwable was actually the Spitter.
