I got White 2 recently and I've been playing the crap out of it. I don't know any of the Pokemon beyond gen 2 so can someone rec a decent ground/rock type pokemon for my party? I pretty much have the other types covered for now.

Roggenrolla's line is decent for Gen V, but its slow as hell
Or Aggron, but I dont think you can catch those in B2W2...

Roggenrola is great. Sturdy with Stone Edge, Explosion, Sandstorm (to increase your SDEF by 1.5x) and Eartquake.

Darmanitan with Sheer Power as an Ability, Flare Blitz and a Life Orb attached is one of the strongest Pokemon of all time.
Also, yes, Excadrill is the best Ground Pokémon

And yes, there probably will be backwards compatability
Gen III can migrate to Gen IV
Gen IV can migrate to Gen V
I assume Gen V will be able to migrate to Gen VI
I and II cant migrate to III due to how things were coded
