as someone who has played l4d almost every day since it came out, i really don't mind shelling out the money if it's bigger and better.  i was kinda eh on it until reading that rps article, now i'm all  no more corner camping yay

The more I think of it, if L4D is to have staying power it should have regularly released content updates.  Paying for them is completely fair as a lot of work goes in to them and they are gorgeous maps so far.  The only thing is I hope they don't dick us over on the price.

There should be a "base" price and an "upgrade" price.  I know that seems to be overcomplicating things but they are building on a finished product that I bought so I don't want to pay for the work they already did.  Plus I don't want to have 2 L4D games on my HDD, so I fully expect to play all campaigns off one install.  $30 and I'm a happy (closet) camper.
