So how do those ribbons work? Do you just get them for killing a set amount with each gun or something?

It looks like there are daily awards for getting the most kills that day with a particular weapon, or the most dominations that day, or the most captures that day, or whatever. The ribbons are awarded for getting a specific daily award a certain amount of times: bronze is once, silver is five times, and gold is ten.

I just started using it because i realized Buff Banner takes to long to ever use it and Gunboats are just barely used ever at all (unless you just jump constantly)

I think the score calculation needs some tweaking when I get 24 kills with 7 deaths, and it says I have -20 points that session.
