And it's free, despite what it says. You never actually have to pay for it and you can still use it after the trial.

XChat2 is not the open source version of it. XChat2 is XChat2. It's open source. You have to pay for a windows binary, unless you use a third party binary, like the one from
Silverex, which is the most commonly used one. It's perfectly legal, but technically unsupported because it's not an 'official' binary.
